Deploy your first workload
The deployment lifecycle from manifest to running lease.
Tenants are the demand side of VirtEngine: teams and individuals who need compute — containers, virtual machines, GPU capacity, or HPC clusters — and lease it from competing providers on the open marketplace.
| Object | What it is | Your control point |
|---|---|---|
| Deployment | Your workload description on-chain | Create, update, close |
| Order | The open request providers bid on | Placement & pricing constraints |
| Lease | Binding agreement with the winning provider | Accept bid; close anytime |
| Escrow account | Funds backing your leases | Deposit, top up; unspent funds are yours |
| Usage records | The provider’s billed claims | 24-hour dispute window on every record |
You pay the agreed lease price for verified usage. Marketplace settlement has 0% protocol commission; low validator transaction fees apply only to the on-chain actions. Your total exposure is capped by what you put in escrow: an empty escrow account closes the lease rather than accruing debt.
